Terms of Service

HiringSignal ("the Service") is a public, free feed of hiring-related posts that surface named hiring managers and founders on LinkedIn. The Service is operated by data2dialog.ai ("we", "us").

The Service displays public information that is already accessible on LinkedIn. We do not store private profile data and do not contact post authors on your behalf.

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes — specifically, to find people who are hiring and to contact them directly through the public LinkedIn link we provide.

You agree not to: (a) scrape, mirror, or republish the feed at scale; (b) use the Service to send unsolicited bulk messages or spam; (c) attempt to bypass our authentication or rate limits; (d) impersonate another user or a hiring manager.

Signing in is optional and uses a one-time 6-digit code emailed to the address you provide. We do not store passwords. We use your email solely to: (i) send the login code, (ii) send rare service announcements you can opt out of.

You are responsible for the security of your email account. You can delete your HiringSignal account at any time by emailing naman@data2dialog.ai.

Posts surfaced in the feed are derived from public LinkedIn content via Google Vertex AI Search. Tags such as company, location, seniority, and tech stack are inferred by an LLM classifier and may be wrong. The Service is provided "as is" with no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or hiring-outcome. You should always verify the role and the employer directly with the person you contact.

We collect only what is necessary to operate the Service:

• Your email address (only if you choose to sign in)
• Standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamp)
• Analytics on which pages and filters are used (no third-party trackers)

We do not sell your data, do not share it with advertisers, and do not run third-party analytics or pixel trackers. The Service uses cookies only to store your authenticated session.

If you are a hiring manager or founder and want a specific post of yours removed from the feed, email us with the LinkedIn URL and we will hide it within 48 hours. The same goes for any post that you believe is misclassified or that contains inaccurate metadata.

The Service is provided free of charge with no service-level guarantees. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service or from acting on information surfaced in the feed.

We may update these terms over time. Material changes will be announced on this page with the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
